Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to be launched at London Event

Xbox One Revealed

Microsoft has announced it's latest X-box One, after an hour long presentation emphasizing the best parts and the thought behind making X-box One. They said that by making X-box one was't made just as a product, but it is made as the right thing for the moment. Having certain technological advancements and a gloss body block, X-box One has managed to get a lot of attention from the Gamers in general.

Xbox One specs are not officially but thanks to mashable we are able to know that  is running on a 8-core AMD processor with x86 architecture, having 8 gigs of RAM. The multitasking operating system has some additional tweaks like 500 GB hard drive (which is quite adequate), three USB 3.0 ports, and a Blu-Ray drive. It also features 802.11 n/g/b wireless with Wifi Direct, as well as Bluetooth which makes it pretty desirable.

Samsung Galaxy s4 is finally launched. With the sleek look and new features it will become the best beast in the market.It;s screen is wide, HD Super AMOLED. With 13 MP camera you can capture the world better than before. Its features are interesting, entertaining and defines that what technology is. Smartphone Makers Ranking 2012

The Smartphone sales were on a flight this year, beating the previous year record of cellphone sales by 1.2% in quarter 4 of 2012. The worldwide market grew by 1.9% in quarter 4 of 2012 vendors shipped over 712.6 million cellphones in 2012 which is 44.1% more than 2011 to be precise.

"The high-growth smartphone market, though dominated by Samsung and Apple, still presents ample opportunities for challengers, Vendors with unique market advantages, such as lower-cost devices, can rapidly gain market share, especially in emerging markets. A good example is Huawei, which overtook LG as a Top 5 vendor in the overall mobile phone market and passed HTC to become a Top 5 smartphone vendor."

Samsung remained top of the list in 2012 with a clear margin making the record for shipping the largest number of cellphones, in one quarter and in one year too. The Galaxy series was a hot cake for the market as you know.

Apple came second with the overwhelming demand of Iphone 4 worldwide and rapidly increased sales in China and other emerging markets. The sales in US increased dramatically too, when you look at the stats.

Huawei just came from nowhere and with a clever strategy found it's way into the top 3, beating major competition. The company shipment grew by 89.5% year-over-year, dragging it from top 10 to top 3 suddenly. However, the market share isn't so huge like Samsung and Apple i.e 29% amd 21.8% respectively. But the 4.9% market it captured is due to the economical and better designed cellphones.

Sony after acquiring Ericsson's stake in 2011 has held the market of high end smartphones firmly. The year-to-year change rose to 55.6% which is the second highest after Huawei. It seems that Sony is still longing for acquiring the mid-range market but getting more attention when it comes to high end smartphones. The market shares are going to boom with the release of Sony Xperia Z and Sony Zl which are coming in 2013's first quarter.

ZTE having a prime position as vendor stays in the top 5 with it's 4.3% market share. The increase in emerging markets tend to benefit ZTE more as we see a 48.4% year to year change in it's corner.



Where some companies like Huawei and Sony had a good year, Nokia and RIM sem to suffer a lot this year. With the wide spread of Android market,  some companies are finding it harder to strive back. While other's like Samsung and Sony seem to enjoy iy to the very core. The Smartphones are becoming common, and 2013 seems to be a crucial year for many smart phone vendors as anything can happen.

Iphone 5s Coming In July

After the much awaited release of Iphone 5 last year, it is time for Apple to move on with the Iphone 5 flagship. Of course, Iphone 5s is coming as 3gs and 4s came after Iphone 3g and 4 respectively. After the latest report from iLounge we came to know that Iphone 5s is going to be launched in July.

So start saving if you are an Apple fan, if not you can always go for another brand. But this is not it, the company is going to launch the next generation tablet line up too with the same design as their predecessors. Ipad mini and Ipad 5 are coming too in October 2013. Ipad mini is reportedly having a Retina Display too so Apple has rose the bar there.

But talking of Iphone 5s we are expecting a better performing device as compared to the Iphone 5.  A faster processor and a better camera is a must, the upgrades to come in Iphone 5s are:

Interactive Projector Technology- The Future?

Since our childhood we have seen in Sci-Fi movies an interactive touch screen which comes from nowhere. We haven't seen anything like that in real life, but we just little behind that reign of technology where this all will be possible. As there are companies which have developed this interactive fixed screen less devices, which surely have the power to vanish all other touch screen systems.

What is Interactive Projector Technology?

Well it is the most obvious question one could ask. As the name suggests, interactive projector technology is the technology which allows any plane surface to be used as a touch screen. You can perform literally any operation, you perform using a tablet or a smartphone screen just by flashing light over any clear surface. Not only this, you can turn any bigger surface into any desired sports field. Hence allowing interactive gaming experience by practically being a part of the game.

How does Interactive Projector Technology Works?

There are more than one way of implementing this technology. But first you have to know the essential parts of the system. A projector(holographic laser projector) and infra-red touch sensing system to detect the light intensity and the pointer activity( a pen or human finger) and do actions according to the system function implementation.
Alternatively, it can be done by applying some of the computer vision principles. Tracking some points and their coordinates and then by focusing the movement of the object interacting with projected screen.

Future

The most interesting part is it's uses, this technology has the potential to literally wipe out all the current technologies, if given proper attention. Recently, a company named Light Blue Optics have launched a compact projector which has WIFI and Bluetooth utilities and up to 32 GB of storage, with a quite neat interactive projector interface.

No news of this being launched in the market is yet reported, but we heard that companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Foxconn and Interbrand have took notice of that.
But if this technology prevails, we can see everything dynamically produced from the time on your wrist watch to the Classroom you sit in or any other screen you watch. All you can see is the light screens, which will do as you command. If that is possible, you don't have to worry about the screen size or space issue or any other problem we face with the custom screens.

Blackberry has left the old fashioned phones and are on the verge of introducing an entirely new Cell phone range. With the BB10 all touch smart phone in the BlackBerry line-up, we could expect a hell lot of improvement. A totally fresh design topped with an entirely new OS is gathering all the attention it deserves and of all the new OS coming in 2013 every one is more than happy to put their money on BB OS.

The Reason why this phone is ranked so high on most awaited cell phones list is that it is claimed to have "a large catalog of the leading applications from across the globe and across all categories". Also the security level is set to max with a FIPS 140-2 certification, so no more worry about any kind of security lope hole.
The phone is slim, sexy and powerful, what else do you need in a cell phone? It is previously reported that a 720p resolution screen will charm the BB10 and the BB10 Aristo device is rumored to have a quad-core krait and a 4.65" screen but it still remains a mystery.

What we do know is that BlackBerry are pretty eager to launch the BB10 in the international markets, with an affordable price and a pretty great OS on 30th January 2013. Lets Hope so! :)

Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 Leaked?

There has been a rumor of Nokia launching the all new range of windows phones again, after the lumia 800 and lumia 900. Some pictures of the new lumia 820 and lumia 920 are revealed on twitter by @evleaks. The pictures suggest it to be a wonderful phone. As Nokia has only beauty left on their side, after getting defeated by android and iOS.

The lumia 820 and lumia 920 have 4.3 and 4.5 inch screen respectively. After the recent launch of 808 pureview now the 920 and 820 lumia are supposed to be out. A good strategy by Nokia to give away windows 8 in the smartphone and making it look so nice and pleasent, having a number of colors to choose from. Well is it real or not, we can't decide.
